The concept of public can be considered. vague. If we are surrounded by people at all times, are we always in public? This structure discusses the levels of public and private spaces, by exploring semi-public and semi-private spaces. 

The first floor is public library with integrated shelving providing a collaborative space for the residents of Paseo Boricua. The second floor is an amenities floor for the residents and the rest of the structure is residential. All units in the building have access to a balcony, with one being shared between two creating semi-private spaces.
